Hanging Jewelry Frame Tutorial

Materials:
  • Wooden frame (one that you can hang on a wall)
  • Hooks (make sure they have screws on the ends)
  • Scissors
  • Stapler
  • Screen (the kind that are used for windows, you can find this at home depot)
  • Paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • A small nail
  • Hammer
  • Any other materials you would like to use to decorate your frame

Step 1: Paint the base of your frame, finish with clear acrylic spray paint.

Step 2: Cut the screen a little larger than the hole of the frame. Staple the screen to the back of the frame.

Step 3: Since it was difficult to screw the hooks into my frame, I hammered a nail into the frame where I was going to put the hooks. After you make the holes with the nail, screw in the hooks. Make sure that you put the hooks on the right side of the frame! You don't want the hooks to be upside down when you hang your frame.

Here is a close up of the hooks I used:

Step 4: Finish decorating your frame however you would like. I finished mine by gluing sequins to it and I'm making a collage on another one.

Step 5: Hang your jewelry!

Hanging clothespin pictures

With everyone having facebook, I feel like people don't have photos anymore that aren't online. I missed having pictures of friends in my house so I decided to go to CVS and print some. I hung them with some painted clothes pins on a thread over my bed and in my living room.

here's a closeup of the clothes pins, I painted them and added some rhinestones...

annnd here are my babies, Pongo and Asher. ( I couldn't resist)

Have a wonderful day! Be kind to one another
